PastHi My name is AJ, AJ Patrick to be exact. I was born in here in Indiana. I have been working with and around computers for as long as I can remember. It didn't take me long to understand that not only could I do what I enjoyed, but I could also make a living. (living is a relative term ...I AM a starving college student -AJ) 2023 As a way to better help our clients I started law school, so in the future we may help our clints with issues including HIPPA tech compliance. 2015 Started Coding for Kids. Work with local school systems to teach k-12 programming and computer skills. 2014 Purdue University Graduate, BS Computer information Technology, with focuses in Networking and Security. 2009-2014 I work for the an MSD Township School corporation in the IT department. (We service more than 15,000 students and staff.) 2010 I won 3rd in state for the Skills USA competition for computer maintenance technology. I enrolled in IUPUI’s computer Information school of technology. 2009 I was awarded an A+ certification from CompTIA as an IT Technician. I was awarded an A+ certification from CompTIA as an IT Essentials Maintenance Technician. I won 1st in state in the skills USA competition for computer Maintenance technology. 2008 I officially started AP computer works. (with cards and everything -AJ) Some of my clients have been with me since 2008. (and no they’re not my family.... I've been working on family stuff from the time I took the home PC apart to look at all the cool stuff inside) |
PresentOk, so here is what I am doing now... I have more than 125 active customer accounts. (I am counting some family here) Most know me as AJ and I like that almost everyone has my cell phone number. The simple Text Me Now link on the front page has come in handy too. Currently AP Computer Works is well versed in networking, maintenance, remote support, and repair. (Yes, I can take apart your laptop... even better I can put it back together) |
FutureWow, where to start, I’m young and at the beginning of what I hope to be a VERY long life. I guess I’ll start with some of the projects and products my company is working on and about to offer. True Instant help... my plan is to actively, remote access customer computers during down time and do the basic weekly and monthly maintenance on machines to prevent bad things from happening. Making it easier for customers and clients to use their machines worry free as well as have full back ups incase of hardware failures. I would also like to add 2 more techs in the coming year. We’re busy, but not quite busy enough to actually pay my starving college buddy's for the help I get free. (pizza and beer) For the distant future I would like the same things that most guys my age would like...A teleporter...flying car and an unlimited supply of pizza. Barring that, I would like to see my company thrive and continue to grow as well as it has in the past. |
(Don't listen to AJ he thinks he is the boss -techs)
